This Journey is Uniquely Crafted for You if…

You feel a soul-deep pull toward Scotland, sensing the land holds something sacred and healing just for you.

You’re ready to reconnect with your inner knowing and move through life with more ease, clarity, and trust.

You long to slow down, step out of routine, and immerse yourself in a space that invites deep rest and renewal.

You crave meaningful experiences that awaken something within—not just as a traveler, but as a seeker.

You’re drawn to sacred circle, where vulnerability is welcomed, and your truth is held with care.

You want to remember what it feels like to live in rhythm with yourself—not your to-do list.

You thrive in soulful community—among people who listen deeply, reflect honestly, and walk beside you with open hearts.

You’re ready to release old stories, soften limitations, and gently meet the next version of yourself.

You sense that this is more than just a retreat—it’s a return, a reawakening, and a powerful next step in your journey.

This Journey is Probably Not for You if…

You’re not open to slowing down, unplugging, or stepping into stillness and reflection.

You’re uncomfortable with sharing space in community, being vulnerable, or engaging in gentle group processes.

You have limited mobility and would find it difficult to walk moderate distances, navigate uneven terrain, or climb stairs.

You require constant digital access and don’t feel ready to be in a space with no Wi-Fi for part of the retreat.

You resist being gently guided and prefer highly structured, fast-paced experiences with full control over your schedule.

You’re not interested in inner work, emotional exploration, or practices that invite self-awareness and healing.

This retreat is more than a trip—it’s a soul-deep invitation to pause, reconnect, and rediscover yourself within the sacred beauty of Scotland and the safety of loving community.

If you're feeling the call, we’d be honored to welcome you.

Ranya Anabtawi

  • Hello, I’m Ranya, your guide and facilitator on this sacred journey through Scotland—a land that holds something ancient, wild, and wise. For over 17 years, I’ve walked alongside others in their healing, teaching, and remembering. And for over a decade, I’ve held sacred circles where transformation doesn’t just happen—it’s allowed. It’s invited. It’s honored.

Following the Threads: My Journey into Sacred Space

I didn’t arrive here all at once. My path has been one of devotion, nuance, and attunement—learning to hold space in a way that feels soft but strong, structured yet fluid. Through yoga therapy, the energetic teachings of Reiki, and the quiet power of presence, I’ve learned that healing isn’t something we force. It’s something we remember.

The Sacred Circle: A Place to Be Seen and Held

Over the years, I’ve witnessed hundreds of women arrive with uncertainty, exhaustion, or longing—and leave with clarity, groundedness, and a sense of coming home. That is the magic of the circle. And it’s the heartbeat of this retreat. We gather not to fix ourselves, but to remember who we are when we’re no longer trying to be something else.

Scotland: A Living Invitation to Soften and Rise

The land of Scotland called to me—not just as a destination, but as a co-facilitator. With her mossy stones, ancient ruins, quiet forests, and wild coastlines, she holds the kind of space that invites truth forward. Here, transformation isn’t loud—it’s deep. Subtle. And lasting.

An Invitation to Rest, Remember, and Reconnect

I’m not here to lead from the front—I’m here to walk beside you. To create a container where you can rest into your own truth, soften into your own knowing, and come home to the parts of yourself you may have set down along the way.

So I extend this invitation to you: Come to Scotland. Come to the circle. Come as you are.
    Let’s remember—together.

    —Ranya Anabtawi

“It is clear that she has cultivated an intuition that allows her to see her students and as a result, allows her to be acutely attentive to what students need in the moment to maximize their comfort. ”
— Gabriella, Restorative Yoga Teacher

Gretchen Langton

  • Description text goes here
“The biggest benefit for me is taking the time to myself. I was in a place where there’s a lot of noise in my life and I know coming here was going to give me that space and clarity. To have a moment for myself and have some sort of clarity or space in my mind before I jump into something. ”
— Cristina, Retreat Participant, 2023
“ (The retreat) gives the tools to dream, and teaches manifest practices and strategies to help you achieve whatever is meant to be. ”
— Perika

Stillness is sacred. Connection is the way. Count me in.

ANSWERS TO YOUR (FREQUENTLY ASKED) QUESTIONS

Is this retreat for me?

YES – especially if you’re someone who values authenticity, connection, and meaningful experiences that nourish the soul.

This retreat is for you if you’re craving time to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and be gently held in a space of reflection, restoration, and community.

Whether you’re navigating a life transition, seeking deeper clarity, or simply longing for a soulful adventure—you’ll find exactly what you need here.

In other words, this journey was lovingly designed with YOU in mind.

  • YES – especially if you’re someone who craves deeper meaning, connection, and intentional living.

This Scotland retreat is designed for men and women who long to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with themselves in a soulful, supportive setting. Through the practices of yoga, stillness, community sharing, and exploration of sacred land, you’ll discover the space to breathe, reflect, and restore. Whether you're navigating transition, seeking inspiration, or simply ready to feel more aligned and alive—this journey offers an invitation to ground, listen, and grow.

In other words, this experience was created for YOU.

  • Not at all. While yoga is a beautiful part of this retreat and offered daily, it is not a requirement. The practices are designed to support your well-being, not to challenge or exclude you. Whether you’re new to yoga or simply prefer to skip it, you are welcome just as you are.

This retreat is about connection, rest, and meaningful experience—not about doing everything on the schedule. You're always invited, never obligated. Every aspect of the itinerary is optional, and we encourage you to listen to your own rhythms.

If you're traveling with a partner who doesn’t practice yoga but wants to join you on the journey, we can absolutely accommodate them. Lendrick Lodge is surrounded by natural beauty and offers ample space for rest, reflection, and adventure. We'll be happy to suggest ways they can enjoy their time while you participate in any practices or workshops that feel right for you.

  • This isn’t just a trip to a beautiful place—it’s an investment in your well-being, your healing, and your return to what matters most.

A more powerful question might be: How can you afford not to give yourself this kind of care and space?

This journey offers more than rest—it offers reconnection, reflection, and transformation. What you’ll take home is something no vacation could provide: clarity, community, and a renewed relationship with yourself.

We also understand that finances can be a real consideration. That’s why payment plans are available, and we’ll do our best to meet you where you are.

  • We understand—life is full, and your days are likely stretched between responsibilities, relationships, and the needs of others.

But that’s exactly why this time is so needed.

Burnout, overwhelm, or just feeling disconnected… these are all signs it’s time to pause, breathe, and tend to you. This retreat is an intentional interruption—a chance to restore your nervous system, soften your inner world, and reconnect to what truly sustains you.

The stillness and clarity you’ll find in Scotland won’t take you away from life—they’ll guide you back to it, with more presence, peace, and purpose than before.

  • What is the itinerary?

We offer a general outline of the retreat journey, while leaving space for spontaneity, insight, and the wisdom of the moment. Your retreat guides, Ranya and Gretchen, facilitate from a place of deep presence—allowing each day to unfold in alignment with the energy of the group and the land itself.

We invite you to trust the process and know that while not every detail is revealed in advance, a meaningful and magical journey is already being woven for you.

As a general overview, we’ll gather for guided practices, meditations, and sharing circles throughout the week—often beginning and ending the day in sacred space. Days at Lendrick Lodge will be balanced with nourishing meals, time for rest, and optional excursions.

We’ll explore the rich cultural and historical beauty of Scotland with visits to places like Edinburgh, Inveraray Castle, Callander, and Luss—each adding depth and wonder to your experience.

Whether in stillness or adventure, know that each moment is thoughtfully curated to support your restoration, reflection, and reconnection.

  • I need a roommate – how do I arrange that?

If you’d like to be matched with a roommate, just let us know when you register. We’ll do our best to pair you with another participant who’s also open to sharing a room.

You’ll have the opportunity to connect with your fellow travelers during our pre-retreat Zoom gatherings, so you can get to know each other before the journey begins.

If we’re unable to find a match, your room will be considered a single, and a single occupancy supplement will be added to your retreat fee. We’ll always confirm this with you before making any changes to your reservation.

  • Partners are welcome to join you in Scotland and share your accommodations. If they choose not to participate in the retreat itself, they can enjoy the beautiful surroundings while you’re immersed in the daily practices and group sessions. If they do wish to participate fully, they are more than welcome to register as a retreat participant.

However, this retreat is not open to children. This journey is intentionally designed to support your personal growth, healing, and reflection—and we’ve created a safe and focused space for that deep inner work to unfold.

We lovingly encourage you to see this as a gift to yourself—an opportunity to step away from your day-to-day rolesand reconnect with who you are beneath them.

If you’d like to extend your trip and have your family join you after the retreat concludes, we’d be happy to support you in planning that experience.

  • Your personal journey actually starts as soon as you register, and you’ll get to know everyone through the private Facebook group. There, you will have plenty of time to connect, start building relationships, and share dreams and excitement about the upcoming trip!

On top of that, there will be two in-person meet-and-greet sessions via Zoom to allow you time to break the ice and meet the ones who will be joining you.

The group and the venue are intimate, and the space is private. Rest assured, this is a safe space for you to be YOU.

  • Absolutely not. You are always in charge of your own experience, and we honor your intuition and needs every step of the way.

That said, each part of this retreat has been lovingly curated with a deeper purpose in mind—to support your healing, clarity, and reconnection. While nothing is ever mandatory, many participants find that the more they say yes, the more they receive.

We invite you to show up fully as you are—and trust that you’ll know when to lean in, when to rest, and how to make this journey your own.

  • You’ll want to book your flight into Edinburgh Airport (EDI) in Scotland. Please plan to arrive no later than 12pm on September 25th and depart no earlier than October 4 at 8pm to ensure smooth coordination with your outgoing flight.

Check-in at the hotel in Edinburgh starts at 3pm on September 25th. Allow 3 hours to move through customs and arrive at the city center in Edinburgh.

We will leave together from Lendrick Lodge on Sunday, October 4th and arrive back to the Edinburgh City Center at approximately 3:30pm. Allow at least 3 hours to arrive at the airport before your flight departure time, or book no earlier than a 7:30pm flight.

  • Yes, absolutely. We’re happy to support your needs.

Please share your dietary preferences, allergies, and intolerances with us at least two weeks prior to the retreat.

We’ll do our very best to ensure that your meals are nourishing, delicious, and aligned with your needs.

If your requirements are particularly specific or extensive, we may ask you to provide a list of foods you can eat, so we can collaborate with the chefs to prepare suitable options.

While we're confident in the care and flexibility of our Scottish hosts, if something is truly unavailable in the region, we’ll let you know in advance and work together on a solution.

  • Yes, we always highly recommend travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and medical coverage. Be sure to read the fine print, as policies can differ greatly.

While you’re at it, be sure to confirm with your travel insurance provider what Covid-19-related issues are coveredand to what extent.

  • In late September and early October, Scotland gifts us with crisp days and cool nights. Think daytime highs around 12‑16°C (mid‑50s to low‑60s°F)—pleasant enough for walking, exploring, and being in nature. But when the sun dips, evenings get chilly (around 6‑9°C / low‑40s to upper‑40s°F), especially in higher or exposed areas.

Rain is part of the rhythm here—there will likely be showers, sometimes heavy, and weather can shift quickly. We plan our outdoor time with this in mind, and there are always cozy indoor spaces and warm fires waiting.

Dress in layers, bring quality rain gear, and don’t forget something cozy for the darkening evenings. With the right preparation, the Highlands will feel magical—the misty mornings, turning leaves, and golden light make this season one of the most beautiful to explore.

  • When you start packing for this unforgettable Scottish retreat, think cozy, casual, and weather-wise. Layers will be your best friend as we move through crisp mornings, misty afternoons, and cool, quiet evenings.

Scotland’s Highlands are known for their mood swings—sometimes golden sun breaks through the clouds, and sometimes the rain rolls in out of nowhere—so a waterproof jacket and sturdy, water-resistant walking shoes are essential. Think of packing items you can mix, match, and add on or peel off as the weather shifts. A warm sweater, a few long-sleeved tops, leggings or comfortable pants, and a scarf or two will serve you well.

Don’t forget a journal, and anything you love to use for grounding—maybe your favorite shawl, essential oils, or a special altar item. Once you’re officially registered, we’ll send you a more detailed list of what to bring (and what to leave behind) so you can feel confident and well-prepared for your time in the wild, beautiful magic of Scotland.

  • Absolutely, you are welcome to extend your stay and soak in more of Scotland’s beauty for as long as you’d like! While our retreat officially concludes at 1:00 pm on October 4th, you're under no pressure to rush off. Whether you’re dreaming of wandering the cobbled streets of Edinburgh, hiking through the Highlands, or simply resting and integrating your experience, there are many enriching ways to continue your journey.

If you’d like to arrive early or stay on after the retreat, we’re more than happy to offer recommendations for lodging, dining, and sightseeing. Just let us know your travel plans, and we’ll do our best to support you in creating a seamless, nourishing experience from start to finish.

  • Yes, you will have access to the internet—but with intention. While we’re in Edinburgh, WiFi will be readily available at our accommodations, allowing you to check in with loved ones or attend to anything urgent. However, once we arrive at Lendrick Lodge, the retreat center nestled in the Scottish countryside, there is no WiFi available. This intentional disconnection is part of the magic. It offers you the rare opportunity to fully unplug from the digital world and drop deeply into your own presence, the land, and our circle.

In case of emergency, your loved ones can reach you by contacting Lendrick Lodge directly or through Ranya’s direct phone number, which will be included in the retreat details provided to all attendees. While being “off the grid” may feel unfamiliar, many participants find it to be one of the most nourishing aspects of the entire experience.

  • If you’re feeling called to travel more consciously, you can offset the environmental impact of your flight by purchasing carbon offsets. These offsets support sustainability projects—like reforestation, renewable energy, and conservation efforts—that help balance out the emissions from your travel. Once you’ve decided to join us, we’ll provide simple resources to guide you in choosing a reputable carbon offset provider, so you can align your journey with your values and contribute to the wellbeing of the planet while you explore its beauty.
